Lazy Lanes Grill

We drove up from Hinton because the daily special pictures looked so appetizing! The pictures did not deceive us, the specials my husband and I had were wonderful. He had shrimp Alfredo which was perfectly seasoned and creamy with large delicious shrimp. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu which came with a side of pasta, asparagus and garlic toast. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. I wish I knew what the red sauce they used was on the pasta because it was amazing. Prices were super reasonable and our waitress was very friendly, we will definitely be back!

I love these people as if they were my own family, i love how much effort they put into the food i have ate here 3/3 days on my short stay in town here are some photos! They even stayed open late one night for us great all around amazing people!

This place is absolutely amazing! We're lucky that we live right in town and only a couple of blocks away! Don't be fooled, this isn't your typical bowling alley. They serve some of the best food and drinks you'll ever taste. Dishes range from American, Mexican, to Italian. Some being appetizers (large appetizers at that) to the fanciest of Italian dishes. The family who owns the place are the nicest people and you can tell they really put their heart into running this place. Even if you're an hour away, it's absolutely worth the drive!

Who knew the bowling alley had the best food in town? This place was recommended by the campground, and it surpassed our expectations. My husband had shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, and I had steak nachos. Both were excellent! If we ever find ourselves in Akron Iowa again, we will be stopping here for another meal! Highly recommend!!

I just had the mango- habanero wings, and they were some of the best I've ever had! Everyone else at the table raved about their food as well. Great food, great people at a little bowling alley in Akron, Iowa. Gotta love it!

I've been here twice, I don't live in the rather small town that houses Lazy Lanes Grill and I wouldn't travel more than 30 minutes to get there, but having said that it's a pretty solid clean little restaurant with enough in the menu to satisfy most picky eaters or diatary requirements. They have both Coke and Pepsi products and had some solid specials. Tonight I had spaghetti Bolognese the portion was generous, and it was tasty. Last time it was pretty good too. The waitresses checked on me at least half a dozen times. They also have a couple of bowling lanes and some other game area I saw some teenagers go in. They serve alcohol but since I am a truck driver and not sure when I will leave Akron I didn't partake.
